High Marshal Percival Mortimer

Known as the Iron Fist of Lothian, and the Lord of the Fourth, High Marshal Percival Mortimer ranks among the strongest combatants and brightest strategic minds of the Brotherhood of the First Martyr. For the armor design I was inspired by jousting armor roughly from the 1600s, as well as Napoleonic era cavalry officers for the plume and rank detail on the chest including the cord.
This piece took me about 2 months of work in total, from the concept art to high poly model, to texturing, and finally rendering. It is part of a larger long term project I’ve been working on to design and worldbuild a faction of science fiction knights called the ‘Brotherhood of the First Martyr.’
